About 2 year(s) ago by The Inn At Fox Hollow Summer is our favorite season on Long Island, and the countless events everyday proves it! Whether shopping the day away, sunning at the beach, or strolling Clark Botanic Garden, there’s a free concert series to serenade your lazy summer days. What are a Few of the Best Things to Do? One of the most popular Long Island summertime traditions is Friday night concerts in the Jones Beach Boardwalk Bandshell, Field 4. Known for its 6 miles of sand, sun, and surf, Jones Beach also hosts free weekly concerts in the summer, with acts both large and small. Parking is free after 6pm, and the music starts at 7:30. As for Saturdays, shop the day away at Tanger Outlets at the Arches, and as the day winds down, stick around for free live music at the Arches Fountain. Just be sure to bring your own seating. If you’re here during the week, take a stroll through Clark Botanic Garden in the nearby town of Albertson on Tuesdays and stay for the 7pm show. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
