Tilt your heads toward the sky this summer and catch an amazing show above Long Island. Stargazing Nights at Jones Beach State Park is your chance to see the beautiful stars and planets up close. Hosted by New York State Parks and the Amateur Observers Society, you can use their telescopes (or bring your own) to learn about the incredible solar system. Gaze upon the Milky Way, discover ancient constellations, and check out distant planets as you listen to the waves roll in along the beach. Local experts will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. It's a magical experience that the whole family will love. The summer sky comes to life right before your eyes!
Jones Beach State Park is only a 20-minute drive from our boutique accommodations in Woodbury, NY. Enjoy dinner at Volpe Restaurant & Lounge at our hotel or choose from one of the fine restaurants nearby before heading out on your astronomy adventure.
