Long Island Hotel opens its outdoor pool and courtyard offering its guests a true Long Island oasis…  

The Inn At Fox Hollow has once again made their outdoor courtyard, complete with a heated swimming pool and hot tub, a true Long Island oasis.  The Inn’s courtyard has been adorned with a wide array of tropical plants, shrubs and flowers, which in turn makes one feel miles away from the ordinary.

One may sit poolside “lounge style” soaking in the sun amongst tall palm trees swaying in the light breeze that typically encompasses the hotel’s courtyard or take a dip in the pool while enjoying the colorful surroundings.

For those wanting a nice warm and relaxing soak, just ease over to the hot tub and turn on the jets. There all one needs to do is shut their eyes and imagine themselves being somewhere in the tropics.  

For those that are not interested in the water, the courtyard itself still offers a tranquil retreat.  One may enjoy sitting outside the pool area underneath the Hotel’s large umbrellas that are placed on the center patio, take in the comforting sounds of the Inn’s running fountain or just sit and do absolutely nothing.

Since there are tables and chairs on the courtyard’s patio, one may choose to dine outside on a nice day.  Take advantage of the Inn’s complimentary full American breakfast served seven days a week or their extensive complimentary dinner served Sunday through Thursday evenings.

For those seeking to have direct access to the courtyard and pool, please consider renting one of the Inn’s Courtyard Studio Suites. The Hotel has sixteen – (16) Studio Suites that guests may take full advantage of, especially during the summer season.

This year (2011) the Hotel will be opening its pool starting Mother’s Day Weekend (weather permitting) through at least Labor Day Weekend in September.

*Please note: The Hotel’s outdoor courtyard closes at 10:00 pm daily. The pool area is typically open from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm (weather and staff permitting). The Hotel’s staff enforces any and all pool rules and regulations. The Hotel may close the pool for a wide array of reasons  without prior notice. Pool closure does not affect room rates.
