18-Hole Public Golf Courses:
Bethpage State Park: This beautiful course was home of the 2002 U.S. Open and the 2009 U.S. Open. Rates range from $11 to $98 for 9 or 18 holes depending on the course and time of day. 7.15 Miles – Directions
Eisenhower Park Golf Course: This course has been up and running since 1914. Rates range from $5 to $73 for 9 or 18 holes depending on the time of year and day of week. Located in East Meadow, just 15 minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow. 7.64 Miles – Directions
The Blue Course at Eisenhower Park is one of three 18-hole golf courses at Eisenhower Park. It was designed in 1951 by Robert Trent Jones, a major 20th-century architect of American courses. The Blue course measures 6,049 yards from the middle tees and 5,717 yards from the forward tees. Like Eisenhower’s White course, the Blue has identical par-three holes side by side, as well as elevated greens. A new irrigation system has been installed as part of ongoing improvements on this course.
The Red Course at Eisenhower Park, is one of three 18-hole golf courses at Eisenhower Park, has a storied history. Originally, it was part of the exclusive Salisbury Golf Club, begun by wealthy Long Islanders such as A.T. Stewart, a 19th-century retailer and property magnate who created the planned Village of Garden City out of the prairie known as the Hempstead Plains
The White Course at Eisenhower Park measures 6,932 yards from the championship tees, 6,399 yards from the middle tees, and 5,357 yards from the forward tees. The course has elevated greens with 22 holes, as the par three’s have double identical holes. In recent years, 38 green side bunkers on the White course were renovated and 15 new tees constructed.
Town of Oyster Bay Golf Club: This golf course is located directly behind The Inn. It has been open since 1989. It is an 18-hole, par 70 course. Rates range from $15 to $67 for 9 or 18 holes depending on the time of year and day of week. 3.09 Miles – Directions
Harbor Links Golf Course: Located just 10 minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow… “The 18 hole championship course is built on a reclaimed sand mine against the water… Some interesting features: a bluff was stabilized with teeing areas that step up the slope; three holes have split fairways allowing a choice off the tee and entry to the greens; holes 12 &13 sit on an area that was used for tailings from the mine and look very similar to a western course. Hurdzan has again paid his respects to the environment by working around wetlands, adding tall fescues, habitat boxes for birds and generally letting the original features guide him. Cantiague Park Golf Course: Centrally located off the Northern State Parkway in Hicksville, NY & just 5 minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow Hotel. This 127-acre park provides an executive-level 9-hole, par-30 golf course; the course is 1,878 yards. The park also offers a driving range. 5.33 Miles – Directions
Dix Hills Park Golf Course: The 9-hole “Dix Hills Park” course at the Dix Hills Park Golf Course facility in Dix Hills, New York features 1,940 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 31 . The course rating is 29.5 and it has a slope rating of 97. Dix Hills Park golf course opened in 1965. Located at 575 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, NY – Just 15 minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow. 12.02 Miles – Directions
Crab Meadow Golf Course: Crab Meadow Golf Course is Huntington’s home for golf, located in Northport, New York along the picturesque North Shore- 25 Minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow Hotel. With breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound on each shot, Crab Meadow is sure to please every caliber of golfer. Designed by architect William F. Mitchell, the golf course is 6,574/5,658 yards with a rating of 71.6/73.7 and a slope of 125/126. 13.07 Miles – Directions

Christopher Morley Golf Course: A beautiful 98-acre park conveniently located just north of the Long Island Expressway in Roslyn, NY-Christopher Morley offers an executive-level 9-hole, par-30 golf course; the course is 1,603 yards. Located on Long Island less than 10 minutes from The Inn At Fox Hollow Hotel. 15.53 Miles – Directions
