Located in Jones Beach State Park, Nikon at Jones Beach Theater is the premier outdoor entertainment and concert venue in the New York metro and the place to see the hottest summer concerts. Opened in 1952, Jones Beach Theater presents the world's most exciting concerts, performers and shows in a stunning open-air amphitheater on the ocean shore with 15,000 seats and another 5,000 on the general admission lawn. Nikon at Jones Beach Theater presents the hottest summer concerts in New York with the world's most exciting musicians and artists. During 2012, the theater will feature Neil Diamond, Dave Mathews Band, Rush, Stevie Nicks and Beach Boys. Nikon at Jones Beach Theater also hosts fun events, including the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular, Annual Memorial Day Weekend Air Show and Professional Volleyball. Jones Beach Theater also presents live theater, musical shows, and dance performances.

Jones Beach Theater Parking -

Jones Beach Theater offers ample free parking. General Parking is free for concert ticket holders in Field 5 and $10.00 for all others unless you purchase the unlimited use Empire Passport for $65. The venue also offers a VIP parking area, which becomes a lively tailgate party before concerts.

You cannot bring drinks or food into the theater. The venue has a strict no-alcohol policy except in designated VIP boxes located behind the orchestra and the VIP tent area. If you splurge on VIP parking there's one hell of a party n in the parking lot before the show, so pack your cooler and chairs and have a blast.
